At Custom Paper Props, we understand that timely delivery is important for your celebration. This Shipping Policy outlines our shipping practices, delivery times, and available options.

Production Time vs. Shipping Time

It's important to understand the difference between production time and shipping time:

• Production Time: The time it takes to print and finish your order (typically 1-2 business days for most products)
• Shipping Time: The time it takes for the carrier to deliver your order after it leaves our facility

Production time begins after artwork approval and payment clearance (if applicable). The estimated ship date is displayed on each product page.

Shipping Methods

We offer several shipping options to meet your delivery needs:

Ground Shipping

• Delivery Time: 3-7 business days (depending on destination)
• Best For: Standard orders with flexible delivery dates
• Coverage: All 50 US states and Washington, D.C.

UPS 3-Day Select

• Delivery Time: 3 business days after shipment
• Best For: Orders that need to arrive sooner than ground but don't require 2-day delivery
• Availability: All 50 US states and Washington, D.C.

2-Day Shipping

• Delivery Time: 2 business days after shipment
• Best For: Time-sensitive orders
• Availability: All 50 US states and Washington, D.C.

Overnight Shipping

• Delivery Time: 1 business day after shipment
• Best For: Urgent orders and rush projects
• Availability: All 50 US states and Washington, D.C.

UPS Saturday Delivery

• Delivery Time: Saturday delivery for orders shipped late in the week
• Best For: Weekend events where you need your order by Saturday
• Note: Available as an add-on to select UPS shipping methods. Additional fees apply.

Store Pickup

• Cost: Free
• Best For: Local customers who want to save on shipping or need their order as soon as it's ready
• Location: San Diego, California
• Hours: Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 4 PM PST
• Note: You will receive an email notification when your order is ready for pickup

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:

• Package weight and dimensions
• Delivery address
• Shipping method selected

Free Ground Shipping: Available on orders over $150.

Shipping Availability

We currently ship to all 50 US states and Washington, D.C. We do not ship internationally or to US territories at this time.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you'll receive:

• Email notification with tracking number
• Direct link to track your shipment
• Estimated delivery date

You can also track orders through your account dashboard.

Delivery Issues

Lost or Damaged Shipments

If your order is lost or damaged in transit:

• Contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date
• Provide photos of damaged packaging/products if applicable
• We will file a claim with the carrier and reprint or refund your order

Incorrect Address

Please verify your shipping address carefully before submitting your order. If you need to update an address after placing an order, contact us immediately. We cannot guarantee address changes once an order has shipped.

Refused Shipments

Refused shipments will be returned to us. You will be responsible for return shipping costs and may be charged a restocking fee.

Rush Production

Need your order faster? We offer a rush production option at checkout that moves your order into the next business day's production queue.

• How it works: Toggle rush production on at checkout to bump your order ahead in the queue
• Availability: Available until 8:00 AM PT on business days
• Surcharge: A rush production fee is applied based on your order total
• Fastest delivery: Combine rush production with overnight or 2-day shipping for the quickest possible delivery

Holidays and Weather Delays

Our facility is closed on major holidays, which may affect production and shipping times:

• View our holiday schedule for closure dates
• Orders placed before holidays may experience extended production times
• Severe weather conditions may cause shipping carrier delays beyond our control
