Custom Big Head Cutouts for Baseball and Sports Teams

Put your player's face on a stick. Send us a photo of an athlete and we print, cut, and mount it into a big head cutout that reads from across a field or a gym. Team gifts and party favors

A big head cutout of each kid is one of the easier team gifts to get right. One per player at the end-of-season party, handed out at the banquet, or set on the table as party favors. Parents keep them, kids love seeing their own face at that size, and it costs less per player than most team gift ideas.

The same goes for the coach. A big head of the coach at the end-of-season party is a reliable way to get the whole dugout laughing.

Ordering for a team

Big head cutouts are built for roster orders. Order one face or the full roster, in any quantity, and volume discounts apply as you add copies. Most team orders come through a booster club, a team parent, or a group of families splitting the cost, and it's the same process whether you need three or fifty.

If you're ordering against a fixed date like senior night, a banquet, or a tournament, count backward from the day you need them in hand rather than the day of the event, and leave time if you want a proof.

Why order instead of making your own

Getting a big head cutout right at home is harder than it looks. Photo resolution, background removal, sizing, color, and mounting all go wrong fast, and most people spend more cobbling one together than just ordering the real thing. We handle the background removal, the sizing, and the printing.

At roster quantities, the home version stops being realistic. Cutting twenty faces by hand the night before the banquet is not a plan.

Sizing and photo tips for athletes

Available in 10", 14", 18", and 23", measured on the longest side.

• 18" and 23" read from the stands. They're the standard choice for a field, a gym, or a student section.
• The 10" and 14" sizes are easier for younger kids to hold for a full game, and they work better as party favors and gifts that have to travel home.

Photo choice matters more with athletes than with most subjects:

• Use the headshot, not the action shot. Game photos are taken from a distance, so the face is a small part of the frame and won't hold up enlarged to 23". Team photos and picture day headshots are the best source, and most leagues and schools already have them.
• Helmets and hats take up the height. A baseball or football player photographed in a helmet gives up much of the frame to the helmet, so the face reads smaller at the same size than a bare-headed photo would. Order a size up, or send a photo without the helmet.
• The same goes for long hair and beards. More of the height goes to non-face detail, so the face lands smaller.
• Front facing and clearly lit prints best. Phone photos work as long as they're not blurry.

How it's made

Big head cutouts are printed on heavyweight coated paper and precision digital die-cut. The paper is thick enough to hold its shape through a full game without curling, and durable enough to last the season and be kept afterward. Plenty end up on a bedroom wall after senior night.

Each cutout ships with a handle that has double-sided tape pre-applied on one side. Peel the lining and press the handle to the back. (Handles ship unattached, which keeps the cutout flat and undamaged in transit.)

Good to know

• Ships with handles unattached (peel-and-stick, quick to assemble).
• Outdoor games are fine, rain is not. Heavyweight coated paper holds up through a full day of handling but isn't waterproof. The larger sizes also catch wind at an open field.
