Fur is the hardest thing in the world to cut out cleanly. Ears, whiskers, and fluffy edges turn into jagged shapes the moment you try it at home, and that's before you fight photo resolution, sizing, color, and mounting. Most people spend more cobbling one together than just ordering the real thing. We do it all for you: professional background removal that follows the fur, proper sizing, and print-shop color, so your cutout arrives ready to hold up and show off.

How it's made

Our pet face cutouts are printed on heavyweight coated paper and precision digital die-cut, so they're lightweight and durable, sturdy enough to last the whole event and keep as a keepsake afterward. Each cutout ships with a handle that has double-sided tape pre-applied on one side. Just peel the lining and stick the handle to the back. (Handles ship unattached.)

Sizing and photo tips for pets

Available in 10", 14", 18", and 23", measured on the longest side. How your pet fills that size depends on their shape:

• Long snouted breeds like collies, greyhounds, and shepherds are usually measured top to bottom.
• Wide or flat faced pets like bulldogs, pugs, and many cats may be measured left to right.
• Ears change everything. Upright ears add height and floppy ears add width, so a German shepherd and a basset hound at the same size fill the frame differently. Both look great, they just crop differently.

For weddings and larger venues, 18" and 23" read from across the room. The 10" and 14" sizes are easier to hold for a whole event and travel better.

For the best result:

• Get down to their level. A photo taken at eye height reads far better than one shot from above.
• Front facing, both eyes visible. Profiles lose the expression that makes these fun.
• Light matters most for dark fur. Black, chocolate, and dark brindle coats lose detail in dim rooms, so shoot near a window or outdoors when you can.
• Hold a treat above the camera. The oldest trick there is, and it still works.

Upload the highest-resolution, clearest photo you have. Phone photos work great as long as they aren't blurry. We handle the background and sizing from there.
